Google Might Just Bid Farewell To The Play Store

Google might just bid farewell to its Play Store

The way technology is evolving, tech giants are trying to come up with ways that makes them one of a kind. These companies are always experimenting with new technologies to stand out. These days, rumors are circulating in the industry according to which Alphabet Inc. might just bid farewell to its Play Store.

So in the times to come, Google Android users who wish to download any application might just not need to get their hands on any app store at all. Instead, the user can just simply Google the app they need.

Thus, if any application is searched on Google, a download option will appear with the search results which will allow the user to download the app with ease. the company has not really revealed this new feature to all at this point of time.
It needs to be noted that the feature is only available through the Google app and not Chrome. So far the AndroidPolice has reported that the ability to download the application is from the app has started to reach certain users.

The procedure is extremely simple and very easy for users. All you need to do is search for the application, and then tap on the result bar, a card will then flash asking the user to download the application.

Google has a different approach when it comes to apps installation in contrast to Apple. Apple believes that the only and best possible way to download apps is via the company’s official App Store. However, this does not imply on those iPhone that have been jailbreak-ed.

According to Business Insider, “Some users have found ways to circumvent the App Store and side-load apps, but the process is cumbersome and requires connecting your phone to a Mac if you're running iOS 9. Even apps that you’ve already managed to side-load aren’t safe, which users of the popular blue-light reducing app F.lux have recently learned.”

This is a relatively smart initiative since it minimizes the chances of side loading the application. Many a times, several malicious apps have been downloaded by consumers which they had no idea about, so this will curb the chances of such incidents. Moreover, some users do not really enjoy using the Play Store in the first place thus this is an added advantage for them.

Hence in a nutshell, the tech giant has come up with an intriguing method that is likely to roll out to the masses soon.

Android And iPhone Users Still Favor GoPro Inc

Internationally, GoPRo Inc. continues to progress well around the world, although slight fall is observed in the Google Inc. searches during last week. The analysis proved that Android and iPhone users prefer GoPro cameras to all the camera companies.

As Android and iPhone are the largest selling brand, many users are following them in the vast majority and demand GoPro camera in the cellphones. On Monday, two analysts from the Dougherty & Company, Jessica McHugh and Charles Anderson, released their latest weekly review regarding GoPro. They reported that the fall of 3% is observed in the global searches for GoPro per year.

This year, the company’s app moved down around 36% on Apple app store as compared to the last year, as compared to the last week’s downfall by 34%. Similarly, it declined down by 19% on the graph on Google Play Store against the last week’s 1% percent fall. Over 39% drop is seen year-over-year on the iPad regarding GoPro Inc. (NASDAQ:GPRO) app downloading as compared to the declination of 34% last week.

Analyst team by Dougherty also compared the company’s trade in China according to the statistical data they have. The team matched its trade with the domestic opponents, such as Xiaomi. Throughout this survey, they examined that Android and iPhone are the giant traders in this field, giving priority to GoPro accessories over Xiaomi.

Moreover, with respect to the most downloaded app in Google Play’s Photography section, they observed a significant difference between Xiaomi’s camera app ranked at 40th position and GoPro’s app ranked at 27th position. In China, the organization’s app retains its place at 157 on iPhone store against Xiami’s spot in 224th position.

This summer, the organization is releasing its new application pertaining to video editing, which will definitely bless the company with further benefits, and seems that it would be the step forward and the reply to the analysts’ call who wants GroPro to bring something new in the field of video editing.

According to the analysts, decline does not matter because the company exceeds in Google searches in the past year’s 4th quarter and the first two smooth quarters this year. The main reason for this fame is the vast majority of the consumers that become familiar to the specific brand. The number of searches for this brand is expected to decline soon because everybody will gain the knowledge about the brand and its offers.

The count of application downloaded in the smartphones does not include the purchasers of GoPro’s economical camera, known as “Hero”, which is priced at $130. This happened because it does not include Wi-Fi. Similarly, the number of app installation does not count the returning purchasers of GoPro because they have that app already.
