Intel Corporation Releases New Version Of Xeon Server Chips For Laptops

INTC News

Yesterday, information technology website, Ars Technica, reported that Intel Corporation declared it will introduce a brand new version of chips for the Xeon servers, which is specially constructed for the efficient-conscious and professional users, who wants official working capabilities in a portable and compact device.

Recently, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) declared to launch Xeon Server Chip for laptops. The Xeon family E3 1500M v5 is capable enough and have the same strength of working as modernized desktop personal computers, and soon in future, these chips will be installed in Laptops. Still the company did not report the detailed report about the new chips.

The chips will be based on the Skylake chips structure, which was launched last week. It claimed that only one of these devices would be able to support a shaft to three connections, so it means that there would be another USB Type C-port supported by laptops. The speed of the laptops will be raised up to 10 GB per second by this tech.

It is not confirmed that the USB Type-C support will be built-in or it will require an external controller, the way in skylake processors. 14nm procedure was used in the manufacturing of Skylake server, and now they are assuring of improving the performance by 30% and memory support DDR4.

As the company is assuring the best performance to the users by means of these chips, it is expected that the Xenon-powered laptops will be more powerful than PCs, because they are releasing this chip family in place of quad core processors, which are not fast and efficient as these chips. If these chips receive the best reviews after release, then it would be great news for the ‘intc’ stock also.

When Microsoft Corporation introduces Windows 10, as it started transitioning towards becoming service-oriented firm, it directly and/or indirectly compelled many equipment manufacturers to have small in size, portable, and more active devices to serve users. Due to new industry standard, hardware manufacturers are running fast to update machines. Now chips are designed smaller because of advance manufacturing efficiency, and made them fast and efficient.

Intel has already acknowledged about their future intentions while stating, “The next-generation Intel Xeon product families demonstrate leadership performance and scalability to handle any workload in systems with up to 32 sockets available and have industry-leading 1.5TB capability per socket, breaking several benchmark records that represent business intelligence analytics, business processing and infrastructure consolidation."

The corporate giant is looking forward to give different kind of chips on various sort of hardware to users, to promote its acceptance rate among the new generation The competition is tough and market is ‘red hot’, let see who will win the hearts of users, who will trim the chip most, and make it more powerful.
