Alphabet Comes Up With A New Login Feature

Google comes up with a password free mechanism for logging in.

 It is now being rumored that Alphabet Inc. is experimenting with a new feature that is likely to make the monotonous process of entering passwords seem historic. This is a battle by the company to overcome the poor passwords. The company has officially confirmed that it is working on a new salient method that allows the users to login to their accounts by making use of their smartphones.

Rohit Paul, a user on Reddit broke this news since he was given an invite by the search engine giant to try the new feature through his own Google account. Mr. Paul has a screen name on Reddit as rp1226 posted various screenshots while going through the process.

The feature is quite simple and works by sending a notification to the Google users smartphone which gives them the permission to deny or allow having access to the account. So now users will not have to recall their long, boring and sacred passwords. Moreover, it will also give the users a sense of security since nobody can have access to their account without the phone.

As per Mr. Paul, this is the exactly same process of the new feature. He mentioned on his post on Reddit, “You authorize your phone to allow you to log into your account. You go into a computer and type in your email. Then you get a message on your phone to allow the login. If you hit yes, the computer logs into your Google account without a password.”

GOOG has so far assured that the invite has been sent to a small n umber of test audience that will assist the company in testing the service in its initial stages. So far only Mr. Paul had the courage to narrate his experience to the rest of the world.

Passwords now have a very naughty reputation over the past couple of years that have given several hackers the access to people’s account. This development has come on the right time as many now believe that having logins that are password less is the next big thing having a dire need. The Internet is now becoming prone to cyber-crimes thus government officials and local peace enforcing bodies are trying their best to minimize the menace.

This is the new trend where companies are coming up with different ways to make the login mechanism free from passwords. In the times to come, passwords will actually become history and new ways will be derived to overcome them.
