Apple to come up with a high resolution audio streaming service in 2016
Apple Inc. is likely to come up with high end audio streaming by the start of the fiscal year of 2016 reported by source close to the company. The report was unveiled during the Portable Audio Festival happening in Tokyo and many analyst now suspect that the company will launch this in the coming year.

There are several bunches of high quality audio formats present now but all those who own an Apple product know that life is not that easy if you are an audiophile. The very renowned format, FLAC is not supported where users have no other option than converting it to ALAC or the audio format supported by iOS itself.

There are many users who don’t detect the change in audio files once they are converted however, those who love audiophiles will be happy to know that it will soon make its way to Apple devices. As per the reports published on Mac Otakara, “Several insiders familiar with Apple mentioned that it has been developing Hi-Res Audio streaming up to 96 kHz/24bit in 2016. The Lightning terminal with iOS 9 is compatible up to 192 kHz/24Bit, but we do not have information on the sampling frequency of Apple Music download music.”

In 2014, the company also unveiled the specs for Lightning connector that assisted companies Phillips and JBL to come up with headphones that have Lightning ports. This will be an end for the 3.5mm standard headphone jack.

High resolution audio streaming facility might simply be another way which AAPL intends to come up with the next generation Apple iPhone to the limelight. As per the rumors, the tech giant will not completely remove the headphone jack in the upcoming smartphone which will result in making the Lightning connector the only possibility for charging the headphones. This might help in making the upcoming iPhones waterproof and much more importantly it will cut out the obstacles faced by the company due to its obsession of making all smartphones thinner than the predecessor.

Apple has been reportedly working to make audio formats that are high quality on Apple Music- streaming service along with iTunes available. The service has been successful in luring millions of users and with the specifications of the Lightning connector, the company is adamant to gain further traction amongst millions if iDevices users.

Hence the company never fails to satisfy its users by coming up with something better than its predecessor each time no matter what.
