Bidness Tech - Google Chrome Live Featuring in Chrome OS devices

With the recent announcement about the launch of Chrome products, the event will demonstrate different Chrome OS devices including Chromebooks and Chromeboxes.

Google Inc has planned to organize Chrome Live, an event that will demonstrate different Chrome OS devices, including Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. With the recent announcement about the launch of its Chrome products, the event took place in April.

At the event, different speakers talked about the evolution of Chrome devices into the workplace. The technology was made evident for Chrome for Work platform, particularly by Rajen Sheth, Director of Product Management for Android and Chrome for Work, as he shared his views. Other Google employees also talked about different products, and how they are designed to help achieve employee’s tasks within their business.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) news informs us that the company is also busy fiddling away again, now letting users assign nicknames to anyone in your address book. So if anyone of your contact is actually a jerk, that is exactly what you can say to dial him.

The 4.4 version update features nicknames, letting you call or text your contact in the assigned way, such as “call my brother” or “text my wife.” The update has rolled out, and you can get started immediately, by downloading the app from the Google Play Store.

The Voice feature has been trusted by many these days and is a quick, and short way to keep in contact with family and friends. A smart lock tool easily allows you to unlock your phone by voice recognition. Android Police states that the Smart lock tool is a good design that will only allow the owner to perform actions on the device, restricting anyone else from using it.

The nickname feature has been designed for users to assign as many nicknames as they would like. Reports say this feature is limited to English language for the time being, but sooner or later features like these probably will come out on other languages as well.

“Seamless Hotword” is another tool designed features additional voice commands, with customizing abilities to use it according to your requirement. We’ll surely have our eyes on it, and will update you any further information regarding the tech.

Google’s own apps have a lot of potential hidden within them. Try out the nickname feature, customize it according to your needs, and feel the power of Android. The upcoming of these new features gives a clear indication that Google is not going to leave alone the capabilities of voice command. This will allow you to perform multiple tasks in the future, hands-free.
