Bidness Tech - Will Google Roll Out To Nexus Smartphones?

Google is likely to roll out to smartphones from the Nexus series this year.

Over the passage of time, Google Inc’s (GOOG) flagship smartphone Nexus has been designed and manufactured by various firms. However, no model has been successful in acquiring the same level of traction as LG Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. It is now rumored that LG is likely to come with a 2015 version of Nexus 5 which will again be a massive breakthrough in the world of smartphones as expected.

Nexus 5 was followed by Nexus 6 which was designed and manufactured by Motorola Solutions Inc. many users found to be a phablet rather than a smartphone. So now the companies wish to revive smartphones through the Nexus series, thus LG has taken up the responsibility to come up with a device that will be the successor of the popular Nexus 5.

This is not it, but the search engine giant is also said to be working with the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei Technology Co Ltd. to come up with a smartphone to continue the Nexus series. So is this actually turns out to be true then it will not be wrong to say that two Google Nexus smartphones will simultaneously make their way to the masses.

As speculated. The LG Nexus series is said to be equipped with a 5.2 inch screen, on the other hand, the Huawei smartphone will have a 5.7 inch screen – that will bear striking resemblance with to a phablet like its predecessor Nexus 6. Moreover, the Huawei smartphone is also said to be equipped with an 810 Snapdragon processor along with screen having 2K resolution. At this point, nothing can be said about the specifications of the LG Nexus smartphones as nothing about it is known or being speculated. However, it is expected that details will surface by summer FY15.

It is actually great news for Google fans that LG is actually working on a sequel of its popular nexus smartphone because its predecessor was actually very popular amongst the masses when it was launched earlier. The rumors have gained more momentum because of the Project Fi’s official Google video which is accompanied by a headset that is also likely to be released. Many believe that this initiative by the company looks like a teaser to make them aware of what is actually in store for them.

Hence, in a nutshell, Google is on the right track with its Nexus series and will soon come up with two smartphones as speculated to disrupt the industry. Google stocks are likely to benefit if these phones are launched this year.
